I’m Katie, the face (hand) behind Second Star Lettering. I've always had a passion for all things hand-lettering, I started learning calligraphy a few years ago and I knew as soon as I picked up my first dip pen that this was going to be a long love affair.

I’m based in Shepherd's Bush, west London, but can create bespoke work for anywhere in the UK and around the world.

The name Second Star comes from a well-known line from Peter Pan - 'Second star on the right, straight on 'til morning'. It was one of my favourite books as a child and represents the whimsical, imaginative style of calligraphy I love.
